Chinenye Precious Alutu is a development economist and sustainable development practitioner with expertise in climate finance, public financial management, and public policy analysis. Her work focuses on advancing fiscal transparency, accountability, and sustainability reforms across Nigeria.
She previously served as a Senior Project Officer on the World Bank–assisted States’ Fiscal Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) Technical Assistance Project at the Nigeria Governors’ Forum Secretariat. In this role, Alutu supported reform implementation across Nigeria’s 36 states, contributing to strengthened public finance systems, improved fiscal governance, and enhanced accountability frameworks at the subnational level.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a Business Analyst at Afenoid Enterprise Limited, where she supported public and private institutions to strengthen corporate governance, risk management, and business relationship management in line with international best practices. She also gained research experience at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), contributing to data-driven economic analysis and policy research.
Alutu holds an MBA in Management and a BSc in Economics. She brings strong analytical insight, research depth, and a commitment to sustainable development and climate action to board-level engagement and policy-driven initiatives.
